Homemade Silicone Molds
Begin your preparation by applying a release agent inside the container. This consists of a tube open on both sides of hard plastic where the figure or matrix fits perfectly. Also apply release agent on the figure from which you will remove the mold.
Cover the base of the container with transparent film, holding it with an elastic band. Make sure the film is tight without wrinkles. Place the figure inside the container, well centered.

After time, prepare more mixture, in this case 300 grams of silicone with 15 grams of catalyst. Mix until you get a homogeneous paste and fill the container to the top. With a few taps you will get the silicone to reach every corner. Puncture any bubbles with a stick and let it dry for at least 3 hours.
Once the silicone is compacted with a little dishwasher and passing a knife through the ends you will be able to unmold it from the container. Make a cut from top to bottom of the mold in the smoothest area, with the fewest shapes. In this case in the area of the head from behind.
Unmold the figure or matrix by pulling towards the opening and we have the mold ready to make soaps or candles.
